How long have you been working at Hairpolice?
I’ve only been working at Hair Police for a few weeks now, I immediately felt like it was a great fit for me! I love this neighborhood and am proud to be a part of the Hair Police team!
Why do you like working here?
I really love the fun, creative and professional environment of the salon. It’s so cool to get to watch these knowledgeable and personable stylists doing what they love! Most of all, I love watching clients walk out of the salon with a smile on their face, fresh, transformed, and looking and feeling their best!
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in customer service and doing whatever I can to make your experience at the salon a pleasant one!
What is something unusual/funny about you?
I have been hosting Karaoke on Lake St. and Lyndale Ave. since 2004. I know everyone on this block! I get to sing my guts out and party with people I love, every week! #blessed
Do you have a favorite food in the Twin Cities?
My favorite food in the Twin Cities has got to be the dearly departed Shorty & Wags chicken wings from The Country Bar! I can always go for a Matt’s Jucy Lucy, a Flirty Frenchie from Glam Doll Donuts, or Al Pastor from La Hacienda!
What do you like to do on your time off?
In my spare time I sell vintage wares on Ebay, I’m a personal clothing stylist, I sing a lot of karaoke, dabble in embroidery and play video games with my son! You can catch me on the streets playing Pokemon Go!
Do you have any pets? If so, what types and names?
I have one beta fish. My son named him “Race Car Mermaid”
What is your “go to” product you can’t live without?
I really love the Living Proof dry shampoo and the Kevin Murphy Shimmer Shine spray!
What causes in the community would you like (us) Hairpolice to support?
Hairpolice is participating in a clothing drive right now and I think that’s pretty cool! It would be neat to see makeovers for homeless and highly mobile people that are transitioning back into the workplace!
